This site is dedicated to people who want to Learn Italian Free and develop the skills needed to speak in a confident and natural manner in less than 8 weeks.
I’m a personal lover of languages and I found this course an excellent learning package with which to confidently embark on my travels around the beautiful country.
I first started out doing the Free 6-Day Learn Italian Free Course so as to test the water so to speak. Having spent four years living in Thailand, struggling at times with the tonal language, I was quietly confident by the challenge of testing my skills at Italian.
What I discovered great to begin with about this course was it’s great combination of audio tracks, lessons and activities. After the 6 Day Course I decided to continue on and found the method and style devised by this new learning school to be refreshingly easier than expected.
This course includes 31 Interactive Audio Lessons, 45 Grammar Lessons, a MegaVocab Software Game which is brilliant and a style of teaching I’ve never come across before. This is followed by the MegaAudios Game for your listening skills and the MegaVerbs Game.
By the end of 8 weeks the Learn Italian Free Course had set me up nicely before embarking on my cycling travels through the southern Alps, a fabulous part of the country.
WHAT DOES THE LEARN ITALIAN FREE 6 DAY COURSE INCLUDE?

The free six day course begins with Speaking Italian. Conversation is the key right from the get-go of this course. Vocabulary is obviously an important tool in conversation but to begin with the course focuses on Meeting and Greeting.
You begin with Audio Track One which is an introduction track which lasts about 18 minutes. The following 30 lessons are on average about 25 minutes long.
You basically double click on the Audio Button and listen to the Basic Greetings in Italian. You can alternatively right click and download the audio track in MP3 format so you can practice anywhere at your own pace.
The conversation is between a lady and a man, the host for the rocket language program.
Each conversation comes with an English transcript. You can choose of course to listen to the lesson without the transcript and as the course progresses, this is strongly recommended. In fact, it is advised to listen to each lesson without the English transcript to begin with, so you can focus freely on the rhythm and pronunciation of the Italian language.
For each translation you also receive the relevant vocabulary, but this isn’t included in the dialogue itself.
As you are participating in the Italian lesson- Make sure you find a quiet place where you won’t be disturbed !
Here is an example of how a typical Italian conversation will appear in the transcript:
Alex: Ciao Maria.
Maria: Ciao Alessandro, come stai?
Alex: Bene grazie, e tu?
Maria: Bene anche io, grazie.

Alex: Hi Maria.
Maria: Hi Alex! How are you?
Alex: I’m good thank you, and you?
Maria: I’m good too, thank you.
By the end of the first lesson you will be able to comfortably greet someone speaking Italian and also ask a variety of questions relating to different topics at various times of the day.
Try and remember that learning and speaking Italian, as the Italians themselves would say, is all about “PIACERE”. Pleasure!
